Do you have problems with starting/idle
Does the choke come on/off?
he is correct there are many adjustments to be made from adjusting the carb set screw for the idlemixture to changing the jets sizes(of which u can change both the main jets as well as the idle mix set) both of which can improve gas mileage as well as a few other tricks to be done. for i have owned a chrsler for many years and i am getting aprx 26 mpg out of mine if u need addtional help please feel free to email me at TIMmORON1 @ Yahoo.com and i will help on this or any other question regarding 5th ave,dip's,or new yorkers

ON A 1987 IT IN UNDER THE ALTERNATOR (PASS. SIDE ) YOU NEED TO REMOVE THE ALT. TO GET TO IT
There is no ignition module on a 1987 5th ave. The spark control computer is on the air cleaner with a vacuum line hooked to it.
