This problem can be caused by one of several problems. If this is one of the antique wood windows with ropes and weights inside the wall, the rope may be broken, or the weight snagged in the wall, keeping it from falling down. The solution would be to pull off the trim board and inspect the space where the weight is to slide up and down. New ropes can be bought at a local hardware store, if you take the old rope in to match the size for the new one. If this is a newer style window with springs in the slide, the problem could be that the spring has broken or become undone. Depending on the specific design, it may have to be disassembled to correct the problem. If the spring is unhooked from the sash it should be possible to hook it back onto the proper place. A local home improvement contractor should be able to diagnose this problem with very little time or effort, if he's got any education. In a worst case scenario, you may have to replace part or all of the window, to get rid of the problem.
If the driver side rear window of your 1991 Infiniti Q45 keeps falling down, the issue may be related to a faulty window regulator or worn window tracks. Start by removing the door panel to inspect the regulator for damage or misalignment. Lubricate the window tracks and check for any broken clips or components that may need replacement. If the regulator is damaged, consider replacing it to restore proper window function.

To fix a sliding down window, first, check if the window tracks are dirty or obstructed; clean them thoroughly. Next, inspect the window's balance mechanism for any damage or misalignment and adjust or replace it if necessary. Additionally, ensure that the window is properly lubricated with silicone spray to facilitate smooth movement. If the window still slides down, consider installing window locks or stoppers to keep it in place.

window make a noise, but won't roll down
To fix a passenger window that keeps popping out of the track in a two-door vehicle, first, remove the door panel to gain access to the window mechanism. Check for any damaged or worn-out clips, guides, or the window regulator that might be causing misalignment. If parts are damaged, replace them as needed, and ensure the window is seated properly in the track before reassembling the door. Finally, test the window's operation to ensure it moves smoothly without popping out again.

I have the exact same problem. Did you ever find out how to fix yours?
You can try replacing the master control switch on the driver's door. If that doesn't fix it you will need a new window motor.
