A good heavy pot.

Four cups of blanched peanuts (without the shell)

!/2 cup of granulated sugar

1/4 cup of sea salt

Heat 1/3 cup of peanut oil in pot to just about the smoke point.

place peanuts in pot and shake around so they do not burn.

Add sugar and keep shaking untile sugar melts and coats peanuts

Add salt and shake some more.

Stir well with wooden spoon and turn out onto cold baking sheet sprayed with Pam.

Break apart any that stick together and serve warm or cold.
