There are 4 bolts in the back of steering wheel these are to remove your air bag then it will come off there are 2 plugs 1 is power to the air bag the other is the power for the horn if you use a after market wheel no air bag or horn though after that there will be a big bolt in the middle that holds it on i think its a 17 or 18 mm i put a pole on my wrench when i did mine its really on there then pull on both sides back and forth till it pulls off or get a puller but i did mine with out one when you take it off there is a black ring where the new hub will go to get this off take the steering column trim off there will be 4 bolts going around it and it will come off unplug its connector and your done

hi there is 2 star headed screws in the back of the steering wheel, these hold in the airbag. unscrew them and lift the airbag away and disconnect wires. then there is a big star headed screw in the centre of the wheel. undo this and pull the wheel off.

if you take the hooter off the steering you should be able to see a nut inside. the nut you can loosen with a wheel wrench/spanner... but make sure to hold steering as their is a spring inside that is attached to the steering, so it will jump off once its loosened.

To remove the ignition barrel a hole needs to be drilled into the ignition switch housing - refer to instructions available in a workshop manual such as the Haynes guides.

To remove the housing itself requires removal of

* Steering wheel (24mm socket required) * Column stalks/switches * Allen-head clamp bolt * Steering wheel stub Removal is straightforward until the last point. There are two ways to remove the stub. The official method is to use a puller to pull the stub from the steering column. The unofficial way it to remove the steering wheel, refit the 24mm nut onto the end of the steering column then hit it hard. This will make the stub release from the end of the shaft by forcing the shaft down into the steering column tube. The shaft will return to its correct position once the steering wheel is refitted and tightened.

Once the stub is removed the whole ignition assembly will easily come away from the steering column.
