There are 3 main bolts not the top of the dash two are under the speaker panels, lift them up as well as on in the middle lift all panels up they just clip in. Next you will have to remove the headunit speedometer and front face off your climate control system, there will be screws here find them not too hard disconnect everything even the control wire for the fan. Remover the faces off the air ducts they are screwed and clipped in. There is screws holding the glove box in that act as a support so you will have to remove these as well. Under the ash tray there will be two support studs take them out. The steering wheel will probably have to come out too. Don't expect it to come out easily because it won't just make sure everything is disconnected first.

It is conveniently located on the passenger side forward surface of the defrost air distributor. To access it, remove the dashboard cover, remove the air conditioner controls and radio, remove all right side lower dashboard fasteners, noise deadening panels, etc, pull dashboard assembly away from firewall, rotate defrost air distributor slightly clockwise, and you can reach in and remove the module (grey) with a 7mm open end wrench this guy is exactly right.
take out all pannels and about 30 screws, took me 2 hours., remove air vents and remove screws, also glove box and screws.
Disconnect batt. Drain Raidiator coolant.Remove Dashboard. Unhook both heater hoses located on firewall in engine compartment. remove airbox nuts in engine compartment. remove retaining screw for core in cabin. remove core.
