There's a large bolt in the lower right position of the front of the carburetor a little bit above the carburetor plate. You have to unscrew this bolt to get out the fuel filter. CAUTION: When I did it, the bolt was in cockeyed and it stripped out and cracked the carburetor. I had to jb weld the carb, and jb weld the bolt back in place with no fuel filter replacement. Then I had to run a hose with a removable fuel filter from the fuel pump to the carburetor. Now I can see the fuel filter and replace it readily.
