To remove the petrol cap on a Peugeot 306, first ensure the vehicle is turned off and the ignition is off. Open the fuel filler door by pressing the release button located inside the vehicle, typically near the driver's seat. Once the door is open, simply twist the petrol cap counterclockwise until it releases, allowing you to remove it. After refueling, replace the cap by aligning it and turning it clockwise until it clicks securely.
You need the vehicle unlocked to open the fuel flap. The central locking also locks the fuel flap on this model.
If your Peugeot 306 won't start after filling up with petrol, it could be due to a few potential issues. One possibility is that there might be a problem with the fuel system, such as a clogged fuel filter or a failing fuel pump. Additionally, if the petrol cap is not sealed properly, it can lead to a vacuum in the fuel tank, preventing fuel from reaching the engine. Lastly, if water accidentally entered the fuel tank during refueling, it could cause starting issues as well.
To open the petrol cap on a Peugeot 206, first ensure that the vehicle is unlocked. Locate the fuel door release lever, which is typically found on the driver's side near the seat or under the dashboard. Pull the lever to release the fuel door, then simply open the petrol cap by turning it counterclockwise. After refueling, make sure to securely close the cap by turning it clockwise until it clicks.

hi while parking near the petrol bunk the ignition was not switched off vendor pulled the petrol cap but it is locked now how to fill the petrol now please explain
Right, under the steering wheel to the right you should be able to find a lever that you can pull to 'pop' the bonnet.......DO NOT MISTAKE THIS FOR THE PETROL CAP RELEASE.....That is on the floor near to the bonnet lever! Then get out the car and walk in front of the car and feel under the bonnet just to right of the lion badge, you should eventually be able to feel a catch which you push upwards to release the bonnet. For someone with your knowledge it should take between 1-2 hours.......GOOD LUCK

To drain the diesel tank of a Peugeot 306, first ensure the vehicle is on a level surface and the engine is off. Disconnect the fuel filler cap and locate the fuel drain screw, typically found at the bottom of the tank or near the fuel pump. Place a suitable container underneath, then open the drain screw to let the diesel flow out. Be cautious to avoid spills, as diesel fuel is flammable and should be disposed of properly.
