To troubleshoot a headlight problem on a 1966 Pontiac Catalina, first check the headlight bulbs to see if they are burnt out. To test a power steering relay, first locate the relay in the vehicle's fuse box or relay panel. Use a multimeter to check for continuity by removing the relay and testing the terminals; there should be continuity when the relay is energized. You can also swap the relay with a known good one to see if the power steering system starts functioning. If the relay fails the continuity test or the swap does not resolve the issue, it may need to be replaced.

To test a blower relay, first, locate the relay in the fuse box or under the hood, depending on your vehicle's design. Use a multimeter to check for continuity by removing the relay and testing the terminals; a functioning relay should show continuity between the appropriate terminals when activated. Alternatively, you can swap the relay with a similar, known-good relay to see if the blower operates. If the blower works with the replacement, the original relay is likely faulty.
