Definitely, this is an issue with that car. I had the same problem with my Acura CL 3.0 1997 and i finally resolved it yesterday. The solution for the problem is the vehicle speed sensor and it is located in the back of the tranny behind the engine. Try to locate the distributor cap and look a bit dipper. Its is very close to the transmission mount. It has a grey electrical plug andtwo bolt holding it to the trans. You will need a 10mm socket, an extension and a ratchet to get it out. Let me know if you found it at hasleystpreux@Yahoo.fr

If the speedometer on your 1998 Acura CL is not working, it could be due to a few common issues. First, check the speed sensor located on the transmission, as a faulty sensor can prevent the speedometer from functioning. Additionally, inspect the wiring and connectors for any damage or disconnection. If these components appear to be in good condition, the issue may lie within the speedometer itself or the instrument cluster.
