you really do not want to do that,believe it or not the seat belt circuit also runs thru part of the air bag decision making circuit. Sooooooo, if you disconnect the chime which really turns on/off the seat belt light in the dash you also goof up the decision making circuitry .Do not do it.

Once you put your seat belt on and buckle it the chime will go off. If it does not then take the car to the dealer for warranty repair.
