where is an oxygen sensor in 2000 Mitsubishi pajero io
There are two, one on the header and the other is located underneath the car just after the catalytic converter.
its the 1 on the exhaust manifold pointing out towards the front of the car. i just replaced it on mine
its located on th down pipe(rear exhaust manifold) after the cat.you will have to jack the car up.
it should be the bank facing the front of the car in the manifold. you should be able to find it right in front when open the hood
A 1969 car would not have an oxygen sensor.
On you car.
A faulty oxygen sensor can make a car smell like gas. Oxygen and gasoline mixing wrong can cause excessive pollution. Replacing the oxygen sensor can correct this issue, and improve the gas mileage in the car.
A malfunctioning oxygen sensor can cause the engine to be low on power.
Depends on the year of the car. If the 3000gt is a 91-93 model then the oxygen sensor should be right before the catalytic converter sticking off of the exhaust pipe. If it is a 94-99 model then there will be one before the catalytic converter and one right after it as well.
If the oxygen sensor fits the catalytic coverter and female vehicle port yes
An oxygen sensor is a device that measures the oxygen in a car's exhaust. The computer uses this to adjust the amount and timing of fuel injected.
