To disable the seat belt alarm on a 2011 Kia Optima, you can follow these steps: Sit in the driver's seat and buckle the seat belt; then turn the ignition key to the "On" position without starting the engine. Unbuckle and buckle the seat belt three times within 10 seconds. If done correctly, you should hear a chime indicating that the alarm has been disabled. However, it's important to note that disabling the seat belt alarm may compromise safety, so it's recommended to use the seat belt as intended.
You Can't. It is wired through the ignition system, Disable it car won't run. Safer to wear seatbelt. Wrong. All Ford products can have the Belt Minder disabled. Here is how you do it on the Mariner: Turn the ignition switch to on. Wait approximately 70 seconds for the seat belt light on the dash cluster to go out. For the seat belt you want to disable the minder on, insert and remove the belt approximately 10 times, you'll want to do it until you see the seat belt light turn on again. Then unbuckle the belt and the light will flash 4 times per second for a few seconds to confirm. This also works on F-150 pickups I know for sure, I just did it to confirm.
