Before replacing the headlight bulbs on a 1997 Acura CL prop the hood open. Locate the headlight housing and remove the old bulbs. Install the new lights.
You need three Polocks!
9003 or H4, same bulb.
my peugeot 306 has a twin headlight on drivers side and a single unit on passenger is that normal
Yes, it just pops off.
There are two bolts holding the headlight buckets in, you will need to remove them to get at the bulbs. The lens will come out and you will pull the bulbs out of the lens itself. They are hex head bolts, DO NOT TURN THE TORX SCREWS THEY ARE THE ADJUSTING POINTS FOR AIMING.
You will probably have to take the complete headlight assembly out or loose to be able to get to the bulbs.
Honda Civic headlights on a 1997 model use adjustment screws. Tightening or loosening these screws allow the light to either be aimed up or down.
The low beams use 9006 and the high beams use 9005.
The screw is used to adjust the headlight beam. Pull towards a wall, and you can see the beam projection to set the headlights evenly.
IF its the headlight on the drivers side, you have to pull the power steering fluid reservoir to get to it. Just pull it straight up. It'll come off.
You pop the hood take and reach behind the headlight and pull off the bulb cover then pull the bulb out and put the new one in.
