The thermostat is contained inside a cast metal housing and sold as one unit. This is what you can see at the end of the top radiator hose, leading into the verticle wall at the front of the engine. Two hex head looking bolts secure it to the engine wall. They usually cost around $95 to $105 on the internet. You'll need a gasket and possibly (but not sure) an o-ring. Both sold separately, but often times included with the housing.

To fix the heating problem on a 2000 Daewoo Nubira, start by checking the coolant levels; low coolant can prevent proper heating. Inspect the thermostat to ensure it is functioning correctly, as a stuck thermostat may restrict coolant flow. Additionally, examine the heater core for clogs or leaks, and make sure the heater controls are operating properly. If these steps do not resolve the issue, consider consulting a mechanic for further diagnosis.
