Most automatic transmissions require the car be parked on the flat, engine running and idling in park. Check fluid level with the transmission dipstick, make sure it is not the engine oil dipstick. Tranny fluid is reddish colored. If it is low, you need to add fluid down the dipstick tube. Requires a fine funnel.

How do you put transmission fluid in 2014 Camry?

To add transmission fluid to a 2014 Toyota Camry, first, ensure the vehicle is on a level surface and the engine is running. Locate the transmission dipstick, usually found near the back of the engine bay, and pull it out to check the fluid level. If it’s low, use a funnel to add the appropriate type of transmission fluid through the dipstick tube, ensuring not to overfill. After adding fluid, recheck the level and secure the dipstick.
