Where do I go to get a spear key for a Honda
i have a 2001 Honda CR-V and i open it by sticking the key in and turning it then the glass will pop up then pull out the door.
i use an axxess 27r and i drive a Honda civic It also works on my daughter's 1997 Honda CRV
try locksmith , will be around $100, Honda dealer will do it for about $170 Lost the only key for my 2002 Honda civic Honda charges $110.00 dollars for labor work, and 59.99 per key. so yeah the $170 price range sounds about right. For the 2002 Honda this answer is right....but starting in 2003 Honda went to using a high security key blank which cost significantly more than the hd 106 keyblank used in the 2002 and earlier models....lost high security keys and the programming will run you about $250
Trouble code P1300 means: Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected
Yes it does.
My 2002 Honda has a chip in my key, I had a spare made but it dose not work. How can I bypass that with out having to pay hoand an arm & a leg?
The key for your Honda crv is coded for your vehicle. The code is checked when inserted and the vehicle will not start if the code does not match match the vehicle computer, etc. is looking for. If the key circuit coding is not correct or the key is damaged the immoblilzer system is activated and the car will not start.
push the odometer button in, turn the key on, wait till the light goes out (could be a long time), turn the key off.
the most likey cause of your problem is that the key is not programed in the immobolizer system use a different key that you have if all the key do not work you will need to have the car towed to your Honda dealer so that they can reprogam the keys you must bring all of the keys with you help this help
In short: yes. I just bought a used 2002 Honda Civic (SI coupe) and I'm trying to figure out a cheaper alternative to making a copy of my key than going to a dealer.
If your 2002 Honda Civic alarm will not turn off, place the key in the driver's side door. Lock and unlock the door to disable the alarm.
