To check if the water pump on a Kia Sedona works, look for signs of coolant leaks around the pump area, listen for unusual noises (such as grinding or whining), and monitor the engine temperature gauge for overheating. Additionally, check the consistency of the coolant flow in the radiator when the engine is running; if the flow is weak or nonexistent, the pump may be failing. It's also a good idea to inspect the drive belt connected to the pump for wear or damage.
