What is the prime mover in the fluid system?

How do you prime a windshield washer pump?

If you have a newer vehicle with a pump motor at the bottom of the reservoir the head pressure of the washer fluid above the pump will prime the pump. If this is not working then you may have a bad pump or some form of debris is blocking the inlet. Some older vehicles had a pump that was mounted above the reservoir fluid level and a stand pipe that would siphon the fluid and these could crack, fall off, get plugged or blocked the same as the above pump inlet. If you can hear the pump motor working (e.g. a whining sound) and the water level is not going down, check the inlet for debris or check the stand pipe (older vehicles). I have seen, only once, where the outlet from the pump was pinched and not allowing fluid to pass. I suspect that the pump was leaking internally though because they are positive displacement pumps and will usually burn out or blow the discharge tube of the end.

Is it true that the wiper washer fluid system in your Chrysler Sebring2004 needs to be primed everytime you need to use it you are being told the fluid drains back completely after it sits for a time?

Why would someone buy a car if they had to get out and prime the windshield washer fluid pump just to clean their windshield. Sounds like someone is feeding you some bull just so you will leave them alone about the problem. Check your hoses from your pump to your resevoir, pump may be cracked or not working properly. If you are a shade tree mechanic then you can get a new pump for 30 or 40 bucks or get one from a junk yard cheaper and put it on yourself. It isn't a hard job.

What theory of hydraulic dynamometers?

The theory behind hydraulic dynamometers is based on the principle of fluid mechanics, where a fluid (usually oil) is used to transfer and measure power between a prime mover and a load. By controlling the flow of fluid and measuring the pressure drop across the system, the power output of the prime mover can be calculated. This allows for testing and analysis of engines and other machinery under controlled conditions.

Can you prime a 1994 Toyota Corolla with gas or do you need starting fluid?

Either should work. Too much will flood it however.

How do you prime pressure washer?

To prime a pressure washer, start by ensuring it's turned off and disconnecting the water supply. Next, fill the detergent tank with the appropriate cleaning solution if needed. Connect the garden hose to the water inlet and turn on the water supply, allowing it to flow through the system. Finally, pull the trigger on the spray gun to release any air in the lines until water flows steadily, indicating that the system is primed and ready for use.
