Well I have a 1998 Subaru Outback and i just figured out how to do it today.
You will need a flat head screw driver and a Philips head screw driver.
first you should remove the screw that connects the door handle and door lock.
after that you need to pop out the rivets along the outside that connect the panel.
be careful because if you don't get it where the rivet is located, you can distort the panel. they are spaced out approx 5-6 inches. also be careful to not tear the trim
after that, you carefully take off the panel. you might need to slightly rotate it clockwise to take it completely off... and there ya go
remove old pads and replace then with new ones
find and remove gas cap, fill with gas and replace gas cap.
remove the old one and install a new one.
ok
The 1995 Subaru Impreza typically comes with 6.5-inch speakers in the front doors and 4-inch speakers in the rear. However, the exact size can vary depending on the specific trim level and options. It's advisable to check the vehicle's manual or remove the speakers to confirm the sizes if you're planning to replace them.
To replace the back speakers in a 2006 Acura TL, remove the SRS housing on both sides and the back panel of the speakers. Remove all wiring attached to the speakers and replace.
To replace the mirror on a 1997 Subaru Legacy, first, remove the interior door panel by unscrewing any visible screws and gently prying it off. Next, disconnect the wiring harness for the mirror if it’s powered. Remove the screws or bolts securing the mirror to the door, then carefully take out the old mirror and replace it with the new one. Finally, reattach the door panel and reconnect the wiring harness if applicable.
remove negative battery cable for 15 minutes
To replace the wheel studs on a 1997 Subaru Legacy Wagon, first, safely lift and support the vehicle, then remove the wheel. Next, remove the brake caliper and rotor to access the wheel hub. Use a hammer to gently drive out the old wheel studs and insert the new ones, ensuring they are properly seated. Finally, reassemble the rotor and caliper, then reattach the wheel before lowering the vehicle.
With difficulty. Tried to remove the one in my 1997 and found that you really do have to remove the entire dash to access it. If you have it out already, try to get your hands on a new heater box, saves the hassle.
To replace the front wheel bearings on a 2000 Subaru Legacy, first, safely lift the vehicle and remove the front wheels. Disconnect the brake caliper and rotor, then remove the hub assembly by taking out the axle nut and any bolts securing the hub. Using a bearing press or a hammer and drift tool, remove the old bearings from the hub and install the new ones. Finally, reassemble the hub, rotor, and brake caliper, reattach the wheel, and lower the vehicle.
Unfortunately, you have to remove the door panel cover. There are three or four screws and several pop-clips, but it is actually pretty simple. To remove the door panel, you have to disconnect the power connector and the speaker (just clips). Hope that helps
