Okay I did this 2 weeks ago for a friend but don't have the car here so this is from memeory. I did go to Pep Boys and get some hints from a manual that was opened. Remove plug from upper rear side of door. If you pull out the post slightly out from the sleeve, then the sleeve can come out - it's all one piece. Pry off the triangular cover that is above the panel and covers the backside of the mirror mount. You need to do this to eventually lift up the panel. Then peek arount he edges of the panel to pop out or pry out the nylon plugs that anchor the panel to the door. Do this carefully so you don't damage the panel. Next unscrew the handle cover. You'll see the lever handle is attached to the latch rod with a nylon sleeve over the upturned hook on the rod. I squeezed the nylon post pices together to allow tha handle to slide off. The nylon post is also clipped to the rod. Rotate this off the rod and it will be easier. When you peek in it will be self-evident. I found this the hardest pice to get back on. Do this carefully to not lose or break the little nylon sleeve. Next you need to find the screws that secure the panel. This is where I am vague on where and how many but they should be visible as you go. The first is totally visible. The next is found when you pop off the soft vinyl arm rest starting from the back. The next and last is a vinyl covered screw visible in the upper right of panel. Think that's it. Then pop out the electronic controls for windows. This took me 1.5 hours when I didn't know what I was doing and 15 minutes when I did it again later. Once removed there is a waterproof plastic attached to door with black sticky tape. Peel this off carefully and you can reuse it. My friend also did this again later by herself so two of us who didn't know how, were able to do it, while going slowly. Good luck.
To remove the front door panel on a 2002 Mazda Protege sedan, start by disconnecting the negative battery cable for safety. Use a flat-head screwdriver or a trim removal tool to carefully pry off the plastic cover behind the door handle and remove the screws underneath. Then, remove any screws securing the door panel along the bottom and sides. Finally, gently pull the panel away from the door, releasing any clips, and disconnect the electrical connectors if necessary.
We have a 2002 Protege so I assume it is similar to yours. 1) Carefully remove the Door Panel 2) Unscrew and remove the Door Lock mechanism 3) Now simply separate the Door Lock Actuator from the Door Lock (The Door Lock Actuator is the part with the wires coming out of it.) Installation is the reverse. Have Fun!

To remove the rear door handle on a 2002 Mazda Protege, first, ensure the door is open and then remove the interior door panel by unscrewing any visible screws and gently prying it off with a trim tool. Next, locate the handle's mounting screws, usually found inside the door cavity, and remove them. Disconnect any linkage or wiring attached to the handle, then carefully pull the handle out from the exterior side of the door. Reassemble in reverse order after replacing or repairing as needed.

I'm assuming your question is asking how to take off the door panel of a Mazda protege. That answer is simple. There is a screw behind door handle opener. Unscrew it. There are two screws under the door handle. Lift it off and unscrew them. When you open the door, you will see a cap, take this off. There is also another cap on the side of the door panel, tear this off and say goodbye to it. There may be more hidden screws, but I don't remember. Lift the door upwards to unhatch it from the top. Slowly start to pull it off, but not all the way. Unhook the electrical stuff, then you're good.
To remove the door panel on a Mazda 5, start by carefully prying off any plastic covers or trim pieces to access screws. Remove the screws securing the panel, typically located near the handle and along the edges. Next, use a trim tool to gently detach the clips holding the panel to the door frame. Once all screws and clips are removed, lift the panel upwards to free it from the door.
To remove the driver door panel on a 2006 Mazda Tribute, start by disconnecting the battery to ensure safety. Next, remove any screws securing the panel, usually located near the door handle and inside the armrest. Carefully pry off the panel using a trim tool to detach any clips holding it in place, then lift the panel upwards to free it from the door. Finally, disconnect any electrical connectors before fully removing the panel.
Pop off the plastic triangle piece at the rear view mirror, and below this on the panel is a round cover about the size of a dime, pop it out and remove the screw. Remove the screw under the arm rest and remove it and the screws under it. The panel will need to be poped out at the botton with a thin tool. The panel should lift up and out from there.
