No they are not, 1985 is rear wheel drive & 86 on is front wheel drive.
Remove the freon from the 86 LeSabre with a reclaiming machine. Take off the ac belt and disconnect the hoses from the compressor. Unbolt the compressor and remove it. Bolt the new unit in place and hook up the new hoses. Pull a vacuum on the system and fill with freon
If it's the one from the '86-'91 generation-like mine-there are two star screws holding the assembly in. If you don't have a star screwdriver most auto parts places will loan you one while you are there.
You may have problems with your brakes' master cylinder. Have it checked by a mechanic.
The owners manual doesn't have a wiring diagram... Go to AUTOZONE.COM and they may have one there.
To change the starter clutch on an '86 Kawasaki Voyager 1200, first, remove the engine covers and drain the engine oil. Disconnect the starter motor and remove the flywheel using a puller. Replace the old starter clutch with the new one, ensuring it's properly aligned, then reassemble the flywheel and starter motor. Finally, refill the engine oil and test the starter to ensure proper operation.

The starter relay on an 86 Toyota Celica is used to provide power to the starter when the engine is cranked. It also prevents damage as a result of overheating or overdraw.
On the starter or IF you have (2) positive battery cables, in between them.
