when my 86 Buick stalled only while hot , iended up changing the crank sensor. use a 3 jawed pully and be carful not to damage the stator rings on the back of the crankshaft pulley..if you need more info. '' levernelongs@aol.com ''holla back'''
could be that the coil is getting hot and wont restart until it cools down.
maybe your fuel pump or a massive air flow sensor
freeze plugs?
sounds like your fuel pump is gettin hot
Electrical circuit do not go dead but theyreliably shut down. If there is a thermal protection circuit supervising the heat dissipated that would the circuit to shut down until it cools and start again and probably repeat the cycle.
94 Buick LeSabre, runs great until I step on gas and then it starts to chug and hesitate
yes, that could be a cause. Along with fuel pump, crank sensor,....
Check the air filter on the side at the top and also check the fuel filter is not clogged.

I suggest that the cause may be related to the starter. Because, if the starter is staying engaged with the ring gear on the flwheel after you start the engine it will cause the starter to overheat, thus preventing the starters operation until it cools.
If your 1996 F250 XLT 3/4 ton pickup that is fuel injected dies suddenly and then does not restart for a few minutes, it is very likely that the distributor is damaged. This will cause an engine to quit suddenly and will delay the restart by about 10 minutes or until it cools.
