I do not beleive your jeep uses bulbs in the console. I have a 2000 grand cherokee and it uses a light strip that is part of the console and can only be replaced with the shifter assembly....... I plan to cut the wires from the light strip and install a pep boys console light that uses replacable bulbs....probably will just lay it in there as long as it is protected and safe... Good luck
