I don't know if you have the same foglight version as I have but its fairly simple to change. I have a Mazda 6 i4 with the sport package. (Canadian version) The car looks like this http://www.grohol.com/mazdamspeed6Gallery2.jpg
Crawl under the front end. There are 5 screws holding on a plastic guard under the foglight. Take them out... You can see the back of the fog light. Twist the wiring harness counter clockwise. Bingo. The bulb is out. Unclip from the wiring harness. Replace with H11-55 bulbs. Unfortunately Sylvania doesn't make any of these in the silverstar models.
Hope this helps.
To replace the fog light bulb on a 2007 Mazda 6, first, ensure the vehicle is turned off and the fog lights are cool. Access the fog light assembly by turning the steering wheel to allow easier access to the wheel well; you may need to remove the plastic cover or reach through the wheel well. Twist the fog light bulb socket counterclockwise to release it, then pull out the old bulb and replace it with a new one, ensuring it is securely in place before reassembling everything. Finally, test the new bulb to confirm it’s working properly.
from inside the hood, not hard but it is complicated.
To disconnect the fog light bulb on a Mazda 6s, first, locate the fog light assembly beneath the front bumper. Turn the fog light bulb socket counterclockwise to release it from the assembly. Carefully pull the bulb out of the socket, ensuring not to damage any components. If necessary, consult your vehicle’s manual for specific instructions related to your model year.
Look at it and you will figure it out.
This spot is for the optional fog lights. I wish mine had them.
go to either mazda6club.com or 6crew.com. they have a ton of information on doing it. use the seach and type in fog light mod.

The AT dashboard light on the Mazda 6 means there is a problem with the transmission.
You will need to either crawl under the car, or put the car up on a lift. There are access panels on the bottom of the front panel. Phillips head screwdriver and turn both tabs 180 deg. then panel will drop down, then you can see up to the fog light and replace a bulb. If you need to replace the fog light assembly, I would suggest dropping the whole front panel. About 6 8mm screws. Then the fog light is held in place with a couple 10mm screws.
