hi to replace the starter on a Mazda 626 is actually quite simple. first, take the carbonater and replace it with the air conditioner. with this, the car will actually start. now take a wrench and put it on the front seat of the car and watch it for 5 seconds. take the wrench out and throw it away (if you don't throw it away this wont work). now replace the air conditioner, take out the carbonater, and add a defunctionator, which is usually sold at most car dealerships. after this, start the car, and enjoy!!

To replace the starter on a 2002 Mazda 626 4-cylinder, first disconnect the negative battery cable to ensure safety. Then, remove the intake manifold or any components obstructing access to the starter, typically located near the transmission. Unbolt the starter from its mounting bracket, disconnect the electrical connections, and replace it with the new starter. Finally, reassemble any removed components and reconnect the battery.
