In the center console, remove the bezel that surrounds the shifter assembly. pry gently around the edges of the console, the bezel will pop up. At this time disconnect your seat heater switch plugs. Set the outer bezel aside. Now you can see into the console. Now loosen the shifter assembly top cover. I use a hooked screwdriver (radiator hose removal tool) to first lift on the rear pass side corner while depressing in the white plastic clip-in tab. It will pop up about 3/4". Repeat procedure on front pass side of the shifter cover. When one side is loose, it will lift and twist out of the way exposing the #74 bulb for the PRND (pass side) and the micro bulbs for the + & - symbols. The #74 will twist 1/4 turn and remove. The micro bulbs (available at Hyundai or Kia) will remove with a small flat screwdriver. careful when removing not to lose the silicone boots over the bulbs which color the bulbs green or blue. These will need to be re-installed on the new bulbs if aftermarket. Reverse for installation.
