1. Turn off the engine.
2. Press and hold the Select/Reset button on the instrument panel, then turn the ignition switch ON.
3. Hold the button for approximately ten seconds until the indicator resets.

It normally means you need to change the oil/filter. But it can also mean other maintenance is required. Refer to your owner's manual.
It means that there is some sort of maintenance required - you'd need to pull codes to determine exactly what. Performing the required maintenance successfully should shut the light off.
You should follow your maintenance reminder or maintenance schedule in your manual. So it depends.

Turn vehicle off. Press and hold down the trip/odometer button while turning the ignition back on. Hold for 10 seconds.
