The RX8s have a big problem with that. The first step is to try starting it as if it was a flooded engine. You can look it up in your owners manual. Try starting it. If it fails, hold the gas pedal all the way in and then try and start it. Crank it for 10 seconds. Then let off the gas and turn the car off. WAit a second then try and start it. It should start. If not than you may have a bigger problem that Mazda is still trying to figure out (something with the imobilizer security system). Take it to a dealer.
