Some 2001 and 2002 Sonata, XG300 and XG350 vehicles may experience a knocking or squawking noise from the rear suspension while driving the vehicle over rough road surfaces at low speeds. This noise may originate from the rear stabilizer bar and bushing rubbing together. This bulletin provides a procedure to correct this condition.
The problem is the rear stabalizer bushing. The new design part number is 55577-38600
A squeaking noise from the rear left tire when turning is typically caused by a worn wheel bearing. The bearing supports the wheels as they turn. Could also be the brake pad "squealer" letting you know it is time to have the brakes serviced.
If you lowered the car or had suspension/strut work done you can be rubbing The body in the boot?
Wheel bearing?
maybe the flap obove the left weel has com loose something youv left in te boot and forgotten about
The wheel bearing
Sounds like you've got a bad driveshaft.
Sounds like the bearing may be shot in the wheel.
CHECK THE EXHAUST.MINE WAS HITTING THE BODY AT BOTTOM OF REAR FENDER
If it happens only when turning corners, this is likely to come from the differential. A ball bearing problem would make noise all the time.
You probably need your bearings repacked
The wheel bearing?
If the "grinding noise" is present while cornering left and all but disappears when cornering right, my experience* says it's your right rear wheel bearings needing replaced. * My '96 did the exact same thing another thing to check is my exhaust pipe would rub the rear suspension on the passengers side and make an awful noise only when turning left and it would be worse with more weight in the car
