If the speedometer and RPM gauge in your 1994 Mazda MX-6 aren't lighting up, the issue could be related to a blown fuse, a faulty wiring connection, or a malfunctioning gauge cluster. First, check the fuse related to the instrument panel; if it's blown, replacing it may resolve the problem. If the fuse is intact, inspect the wiring for any loose connections or damage. If these steps don't fix the issue, the gauge cluster itself may need repairs or replacement.

The answer is that there isnt, the early miatas dont really need a oil pressure gauge and were taken out of the newer ones for the reason that they were basically useless. Cheers.
Don't know what you're working on but it sounds like you have accidently disconnected the speedometer cable from the speedometer. Check it out.
you dont it is against the law in all states.
Its built in the ''botle'', so u have to replace all that thing... but dont worry about that light on! it is almost normal ;)

I am a used car dealer and sell tons of vw's. I have had several beetles that dont register speed, fuel or rpms correctly. the only way I have found to make it close without taking it to the shop is remove the glass covering the spedo cluster and pull off the red needls and place them at zero. not sure how close to correct it is but I do think it is close.
