If the radio fuse is fine and the speakers still do not work, perhaps the speakers are wired up wrong. Every speaker has an input and output wire. The wires may have been crossed or they are not connected to the radio. If the CD player works, but the radio will not, then the radio itself is bad.
bad plug wires, your getting some arcing from the mositure.
Crazy as it sounds. I've found this on my 07 new body style silverados. Its all the speakers. You can fit 6.5" speakers in the front and in the back doors on the extended cab models. Just replace the speakers and it'll work fine.
Fine Music Radio was created in 1995.
Wire is fine. The guy who installed the radio connected the power wire to the wrong side of the key switch.
I have a 92 Paseo also, I had this problem also. I put a aftermarket radio in and for some reason I connected something wrong. I disconnected the radio and ran a inline fuse straight from the battery to the radio. Works fine!!
The message of wait one hour occurred because a wrong passcode was entered into the system. To get rid of the message you will need to leave the radio on and uninterrupted for the one hour. The radio will then reset itself and will be fine again.
if all the other electronic parts work such as lights and and horn then it's probably a starter selinoid!
That depends on specifically which speakers you had in mind, but I use Logitech Surround Sound speakers with my PS3 and they work fine.
Mis adjusted shift linkage, internal failure
If it simply doesn't play CD's, it is probably the disc reader. If it doesn't play anything but SAYS it's playing something (ie. Radio). It is probably your signal to the speakers. If nothing plays or lights up, probably just a deck gone bad.
You could accidentally short out the power wire to the radio and blow a fuse. But you really do not have to disconnect the battery terminal. Just remove the fuse for the radio circuit and you will be fine.
the carbaretta could have blown mate
