It Locks your trunk and gas tank so that when you give a valet the valet key all they can do is open the door and start the car ... that way you can leave things in the trunk and not worry about a valet stealing them the valet key is the one that is grey or round depends on which Honda you have
The factory security system does not have a valet switch.
A 1992 LeSabre wouldn't have a valet switch
My Valet switch looks like a Black rocker switch with Valet wrote on it. Mine is in the arm rest, Cassette holder in my XJ6 1995 model , I do not know what it does though. Paul
I dont think a valet switch was standard on the accord but for most all aftermarket alarm installs the normal place for the valet switch is under the dashboard by where your left knee would be.
In the glove box!!
Where is valet switch on 2002 nissan altima
The valet switch in vehicles looks different depending on the model. It is generally located under the dash or in the glove compartment.
NoNo
What do you mean by "valet mode"? If you mean the trunk release button won't work, there's a valet switch inside the glove compartment that activates and deactivates it. Just turn it off. OR You use the black key in the trunk keyhole which is located in the xk8 emblem. The Keyhole is located between the x and k. That should take it of valet mode.
I don't think any OEM alarms have a 'valet switch.' To the best of my knowledge, that is something only found on aftermarket alarms...
Your car alarm should have a valet switch, which is named for exactly that situation.
