A blinking HOLD light on a 1995 Mazda MPV indicates that the vehicle's transmission is in "Hold" mode, which is a feature designed to prevent the transmission from shifting to higher gears. This can occur automatically in certain driving conditions, such as when the vehicle is experiencing a malfunction or when the Transmission Fluid temperature is too high. It's advisable to check the owner's manual for specific troubleshooting steps or to consult a mechanic if the light persists.
