With a stock ecu from factory 98 premium. You can get it remapped (standalone) to use e85. Simple answer : premium unleaded. I use shell optimax and it serves me well. I have a 250hp fc turbo softop
4 plugs 2 leading 2 trailing.
No. 88 is a series 4 2nd gen and 91 is a series 5 2nd gen.
My 91 rx7 idles at 1000-1200, which i believe is the norm.
PUT EMERGENCY BRAKE ON
2001-2005 Mazda Miatas required a minimum of 91 octane.
No. 86-88 are the same. 89-91 are the same.
use high octane if you can, the rotary engine tends to build up carbon on low-end gas, and if any carbon gets into your apex-springs it can damage your engine
Premium, 91 or higher
Yes you can. The only difference will be that the orange marker lights in the front will not fit.
gas 91 being sutable
I would use 91 octane gas. That is what I used in my Honda Elite 150.
BMW only takes gas rated at octane 91 or higher, and that is Premium at the gas station.
