Hoo I set the correct timing on a 1993 mazda protege
The 1993 Subaru Legacy 2.2 liter engine ignition timing is the sequence that allows the engine to run smoothly. The ignition timing is synchronized with the crankshaft position sensor.
mine slipped on the timing belt itself so check the timing first then work the fuses and then use a tachometer on the ignition coil if not it you might have a fried motor man
Ignition timing is electronically controlled.
transmition with chain.
how much does it cost to fix a timing belt.
The B2600i does not have an EGR valve, because the truck is fuel injected the ECU monitors driving conditions and retards ignition timing to lower NOx emissions. Kyrasis6 Mazdatruckin.com
i have no clue i have the same problem with my Mazda 1999 626
Parking brake not fully released? Worn brake linings? Brake fluid in reservoir low (mabe a leak in system)? Bad sensor?
Ignition coils generate the voltage needed to create the spark for ignition of the fuel air mixture, without it the vehicle will not run.
Its the brown wire from the distributor, goes to the fuses/relays on your firewall. unhook that and you will have your base timing.
To change the timing belt on a 1993 Mazda B2200, start by disconnecting the battery and removing the engine cover. Next, take off the accessory belts and the crankshaft pulley. Align the timing marks on the crankshaft and camshaft, then remove the old timing belt by loosening the tensioner. Install the new timing belt, ensuring it’s properly aligned with the timing marks, then reassemble all components in reverse order and reconnect the battery.
