Disconnect the pos. and neg. leads and make the leads touch together (this will wipe the internal memory clean of any previous history). Then make sure all your doors are closed and locked. The same way you change the battery in a ford f150, a dodge ram, a chevy suburban, a gmc sierra, or any other car on the market. You remove the cover, if applicable, disconnect the leads, (positive + first), remove the battery, put the new battery in, reconnect the leads (negative - first) and replace the cover, if applicable.

I have a daewoo matiz that has low power when the engine light comes on I have changed the spark plugs/leads/distributer cap/distributer/and coil checked the timing changed the fuel filter air filter and it still looses power when the engine light comes on. You have spent a lot of money and you still have the problem. Do you not think it might be time to take it to an expert and have it repaired correctly. You would've been money ahead right at this moment.
