Hi!
The spare tire on the Z31's (84-89) are inflatable donuts. They are located in the passenger side rear of the hatch behind the black cover. Chances are you won't have one.
They were inflatable and seldom used so they dry rotted. If you tried to inflate it it won't hold air. They also came stock with a red inflating can that you probably don't have either. :) I know... sucks.
The tool kit in the hatch also came with an extra set of lug nuts that were meant for the spare tire only.
Now, to answer your question....I don' know the actual size. I could measure mine for you but it most likely won't do you any good if you don't have one.
What I do is carry a full size tire and rim. I made a tire cover that unzips and pull my tire out. My homemade case has a few tie down places stitched in it so that I can take a few extra stock luggage style straps and latch it to the back side of my 2+2 seats. This way I can still have a place to safely store my Ts.
A spare was only to get you a few miles down the road barely. A full size will get you farther :)
I hope that this helps you. If you want pics/measurements of a spare tire and the canister (mine is empty!) I'll be happy to forward them on.

No 2007+ generation Nissan Altimas have a donut - a full size spare will fit but a new tie down will be needed and you lose a little cargo space.
My parents had an '87 Multi with a full size spare mounted underneath. I think the full-size was an option, though.
yes if the turboengen is the right size

The standard spare tire size, for a 1999 Toyota Camry, is 135 R55 15. The spare tire size is smaller than the standard tire size.
The spare tire cover needs to match size of tire.
