It means your battery is dying
your battery is either lose or dead check that
Battery dead
It could be a dead battery.
Could be the Starter or the Transmission
i might be wrong but it could be the 'bendex'. this is the part of the starter motor that disengages it after the engine turns on. it might not be fully disengaged from the previous trip. sometimes all that is needed to get it to go is to rock the car foreward or back a little. hope that helps.
solenoid or relay switch
One of a few things depending on the click. If it makes consecutive clicks when you turn the key (click, click, click, click) then the odds are the battery is dead or in need of charging and there just isn't enough charge to fully engage the starter and turn over the engine. If it clicks just once, the selenoid is usually bad, or the starter is "locked" and will need to be replaced.
if the battery and battery conections are good, then you need to replace the starter motor
The starter of a 2003 Kia Sedona is located on the lower side of the engine, near the transmission. Specifically, it can be found on the passenger side, mounted to the engine block, just above the transmission bell housing. To access it, you may need to lift the vehicle and remove any obstructing components, such as the air intake or engine cover.
Dead battery? try jumping it off. bad starter solenoid? bad starter?
just click!
I just replaced our engine in our new to us '02 Sedona 3.5l. It cost us $2300 and I think that we got out cheaper than most. That's still too much for the POS! Had 144K and replaced it with one that reportedly has 65k.
