on throttle body next to Idle control valve.
The TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) on a 1992 Prelude is located in the engine compartment behind the motor. Look for a small sensor just to the left of the spark plug bank next to the EFI (Electronic Fuel Injector) or the carburetor module.
To check the throttle sensor on a Cadillac Fleetwood, first ensure the vehicle is turned off and disconnect the battery. Next, locate the throttle position sensor (TPS) on the throttle body and use a multimeter to measure the voltage at the sensor's electrical connector while moving the throttle plate. The voltage should change smoothly as the throttle opens and closes. If the readings are inconsistent or out of the specified range, the sensor may need to be replaced.
It is just next to the TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) on the intake manifold.
speed sensor is located next to the throttle body
i think, but don't hold me to this, on the driverside just below the air filter box. postioned to the torqconverter case next to the tranny. u can see a throttle cable attached to this position sensor if i am not mistaking this to a taurus...
under the throttle body next to the thermosat housing.
To reset the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) on a Ford Fusion, first, ensure the vehicle is off. Then, turn the ignition to the "On" position without starting the engine, and wait for about 10 seconds. Next, press the accelerator pedal to the floor and hold it for about 10 seconds, then release it. Finally, turn the ignition off and start the engine; this should reset the TPS.
on the throttle body there are 2 sensors opposite the throttle cable. the one more towards the front is the TPS sensor (throttle position sensor) it has a 3 pin connector running into it and the sensor right behind it is the MAP sensor* (manifold absolute pressure sensor) and it has a 4 pin connector running into it. *data is wrong. That is the IACV, Idle Air Control Valve, also known as the Idle Air Control Motor or Idle Speed Motor. The MAP Sensor is located on the front of the intake, next to the Idle Air Temperature Sensor.
You can't adjust the TPS, but there is a way to adjust the idle if thats what you want. Right next to the brake master is the throttle cable and with your fingers spin the black plastic nut on the cable to desired rpm.
Its located on the throttle body weather is a spfi or a mpfi. Its held on by T15 torques head screws and has 3 wires on it. The aicm controls your idle and sets right next to it and has 4 wire running to it
To change the throttle position sensor (TPS) on a 1999 Oldsmobile Aurora, first disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent electrical shorts. Next, locate the TPS on the throttle body, remove the screws holding it in place, and carefully detach the connector. Install the new sensor by aligning it properly and securing it with screws, then reconnect the electrical connector and the battery cable. Finally, ensure the throttle is calibrated if necessary, following any specific instructions in the service manual.
