To change the hydraulic struts on a 1996 Toyota Tercel, you'll need a basic set of tools including a socket wrench set, a torque wrench, and possibly a pry bar for leverage. Additionally, having a pair of jack stands is essential for safely lifting and securing the vehicle while you work. A spring compressor may also be necessary if you're replacing struts that include coil springs. Always refer to the vehicle's manual for specific torque specifications and procedures.
To replace the brake pads on a Toyota Tercel a jack is needed. Some other tools that will be used are a socket wrench, screwdriver, lug wrench, and a pair of pliers.
