In a 1991 Hyundai Excel, the computer chip, often referred to as the engine control unit (ECU), is typically located inside the vehicle, near the driver's side kick panel or under the dashboard. It may be housed in a plastic case and connected to various wiring harnesses. To access it, you might need to remove some trim or panels for better visibility. Always consult the vehicle's service manual for specific instructions related to your model.
it has a 4 speed manual trans in it
No there is not a Chip in 90 Integra. I have a 91 intergra and made copies at Home Depot
Yes, but the computer chip itself is different.
I can't say were because I'm yet to look but if you follow the positive terminal it should lead you there.
PROM and you can only get them from a junk yard or a dealer
normally it runs with 87 octane gas... i always use 91-93 octane is more expensive but keeps the fuel system cleaner and healthier
Locate VIN number and check the tenth letter. An "L" indicates '90, an "M" indicates '91 and a "N" indicates '92. It's reasonable to assume subsequent years will be alphabetical, but check your library for free info.
replace it..It should screw right in with a wrench.
87 or higher but the manual says 91
