Where is the transmission filter on a 2000 Mitsubishi Galant?

inside the pan intself!!!

I wish it were. I took off the pan and saw only the valve body. There is a filter located on the bottom of the transmission according to alldata, which is NOT the pan. The pan sits vertical on this tranny.
