In a 2006 Hyundai Tiburon, the valet override button is typically located inside the glove compartment. To access it, open the glove compartment and look for a small button or switch that may be labeled for valet mode. This button allows you to disable the valet feature, giving you control over the vehicle's functions when valet parking. If you're unable to find it, refer to the owner's manual for specific instructions.
It is when you do not want your guest to have access to the internet.

It is the choice of the installer where to install it.
It doesn't exist.
For most vehicles the valet/overide button/switch is located somewhere hidden underneath the stearing wheel area. It is usually hard to spot, but it is there somewhere.
Press the button- then lock the glove compartment using your normal key, Now the trunk button down on left by the fuel door release button will not work - if you have the original "valet" key that came with the car, you can give it to a valet parking attendant and they cant get in the trunk or the glove compartment (of course you can't give them the key that you normally use which can open everything).
No such part exists on a Durango.
There's a (fuel door) button on the dash (toward the center), next to the trunk open button. But both these buttons are disabled if the valet switch in the glove box is depressed. See to that valet switch (button) first.
If your refering to the over drive button. It's located on the shifter handle.
Ok, try this. Put the key in the ignition, and turn forward all the way just before cranking. Then within 5 seconds, locate, press and hold in the valet/overide button, found under the dash area, (push button, spring loaded) until the installed LED (the blinking light) in your dash area goes on solid, and the siren chirps once. (Your valet switch might be the toggle (on/off) type. in this case, key on, flip switch in opposite direction, then turn the key off.) This should reset the alarm, and reset the grounded relay on the starter wire, allowing you to start the engine. At this point, the only thing working would be the keyless entry from the alarm, if it came equipped that way. Just Repeat these steps to place it back to usable armed mode. You may get 2 chirps, confirming it, and the lights may flash twice as well. (from http://en.allexperts.com/q/Car-Alarms-1513/1998-Subaru-Legacy-GT.htm)
When have your car parked by a valet you just hit that button and lock your glove box and they will not be able to open the trunk or gas filler door....Remember to take your door key with you. They can use the remote to get in the car.
