Check your alternator/drive belt. If it looks worn, change it out. Make sure to get the tension right on it as well. If it looks alright, check to make sure it's tight and not slipping. This is just one possibility, it could be something else, but it's a good place to start.

i have the same problem i think it has to do with a short between the fuse box and the before the plug because i pulled the plug that connects to the switch and the running lights stay on but the head lights turn off your best bet is to follow the wires from the box to the plug and make sure they aren't burnt or connecting to any other wire
