Had that happen once and it was a loose wire connecting the light itself. My taillight was out but one of the headlights had a loose wire
I had this happen aswell, so I followed the wires back from the lights and it turns out between the trailer adapter and the lights the wire shield corroded and rubbed against metal until the wires hit the frame and grounded out, check all that. If not, I also noticed that the adapter breaks very easily, and that some pins that connect the wires together were broken, otherwise you could always take it out to eliminate the problem, by connecting the female and male adapter connections together.
Bad fuse?
turn signal relay is bad
Could you you tell me how you got a FIVE WHEEL Ranger and where can I get one!? Oh, and it is number 5, I think.
open the end gate remove the hold down screws and carefullt remove the taillight assembly
check map sensor that was the problem in my 89 2.3 ranger
The blinker relay is under the dash, on the passenger side of the steering column. It is under a black cover with a small number of fuses.
Sounds like there is a bulb installed incorrectly somewhere. parking light or taillight.
I had this problem before on a ranger you have to pull the dash board out and it will be right there.
In the fuse box. Take the bolts and wiring loose from the rear fo the radio under the dash. Then pull off the knobs and remove the nuts under there and work it out .
To change the bulbs on a Ford Ranger, first, ensure the vehicle is turned off and the keys are removed. For headlight bulbs, open the hood, remove the headlight assembly cover, and disconnect the wiring harness before twisting and removing the old bulb. For taillight bulbs, access the taillight assembly from the rear, twist the bulb socket counterclockwise, and replace the bulb. Always check the owner’s manual for specific instructions related to your model year.
2002 Ford Ranger Edge had no problem with 1500Lbs plus another 1000Lbs on a light trailer
This makes no sense. What is your question?
