I had the same problem, that's the site you want. Works like a charm.
My 89 jeep Cherokee surges at idle and sometimes stalls but runs fine once you are going what could cause this?
the choke could be sticking causing the car the flood
A bad IAC (Idle air control valve) or a vacuum leak or both.
Check the idle sensor if you have one.
It sounds like your trainsmission is going bad. something inside the trains- mission. also could be trainsmission vacume line to modual. .
idle control valve faulty or needs cleaning
You can't. Toyota Camry uses throttle position sensor to adjust idle. If your car does not idle you need to check computer for error codes. If you do not have any, most likely you will have to do tune up on your engine and maybe even fuel system. But starters check the air filter and replace if you did not do that in a while or if it looks dirty.
Connected to, and under ther Throttle body. Go to YouTube and type IAC on 2000 Camry.
You might need to check the spark plug wires, fuel filter, and check the vacuum hoses.
I have 200,+ miles on the car. I change the plugs and wires yet it runs rough at idle and runs smooth at crusing speed. What can i do?
Loud idle? no, not turn over ,yes
Most likely because it can't idle. You need to check if the idle control valve is working (if you have one), also try adjusting the idle control screw.
