Good question. Jupiter is primarily made of elements that we consider gasses, like Hydrogen and Helium. However, the pressures deep within Jupiter's core are likely to have compressed it into something we cannot duplicate on Earth; liquid metallic hydrogen.

We're not certain of this, of course, because we can only see the outer layers.
