- the possible loss of life; yet playing Golf can be deadly too

- high costs which could be used to help the needy or sponsor other experiments, yet money spent on all the space programs is paid to suppliers, services and personnel who again pay taxes. No cash is ever "lost" or "wasted" in space.

- There would be a high economic loss and some difficulty may appear.

Not unlike everything else, there are pros and cons to the space exploration argument.

Pros:

• It is possible that we can find new materials, minerals, and species can be found in space.
• Great interest in other planets like ours (one that sustains life), or extraterrestrials that are more advanced than us in science, mathematics, etc.
• The final, and most common reason is that there is a natural urge for adventure in the human spirit. Face it. Pretty much every child in the world has said at-least once that when they are older, they wanted to go to the moon. The human response to almost everything is to understand the unknown.

Cons:

• Why would we spend money on space exploration when we have expenses and problems on Earth that we need to take care of? EX: poverty, crime, national debt, and economy
• It is all around costly. It costs a lot to send something into space. What most people don't think about is that it is costly to train the astronauts. It is also a risky business, and there is no guarantee that the people or objects sent into space will ever come back, or if they do, there is no guarantee that they will bring anything substantial.
• Even if we do find something interesting, it is not necessarily going to benefit humans.
