If the Earth were larger, there would probably be an increase in gravity. (assuming the new Earth had the same density as the old one.) A larger gravity would gather the atmosphere closer to the ground, (which might be tough on Everest climbers) and the atmosphere would be more dense, and not quite as thick.
With a greater gravity, the loss of light gases would be reduced, but only by a little.
It would get bigger
nothing would happen
we would die
The earth's water would evaporate.
If the earth did not mood it would always be dark. It would also be cold.
It would get bigger
It already does happen on Earth but just not that offten. The size doesn't matter.
if its bigger than isle of man it would do a very big impact and damage
If the moon was bigger than the Earth, than Earth would orbit it and, by our current definitions, it would be a moon.
the volume would get bigger, and the solid itself would just get bigger.
ha ha well nothing would happen because there was no life on earth.
your eye would explode
Earth's shadow is bigger comoared to the moons
the earth would be destroyed
Earth would stay the same
Further away from the equator, they'd get more pronounced. A bigger area would never get night during summer, and never day during winter.
High tides would be smaller and low tides would be bigger, but would still occur. The cause of the tides is the gravitational attraction between the earth and moon, and to a lesser extent, between the earth and sun. If the moon were further from the earth, its gravitational attraction would be less strong, and its effect on the earth's liquid envelope would be correspondingly less.
