The Apollo landed in Pacific ocean near the coast of US Territory of American Samoa. (Not sure whether it was Apollo 13 or 11)

First of all due to a explosion in the oxygen tank ,of the Apollo 13 the spacecraft could not land on the moon.
Apollo 14 was launched as Apollo 13 failed to land on the moon and do experiments. Apollo 14 astronauts did that job.
To land at Fra Mauro, accomplished instead by Apollo 14.
